Máriapócs

Máriapócs észak-kelet Magyarország híres búcsújáró helye. A görög katolikus bazilikában található Szűz Mária kép többször könnyezett a történelem folyamán, figyelmeztetve a nemzetet súlyos veszedelmek közeledtére. Az eredeti képet Bécsbe vitték, de ott már soha nem könnyezett.

Máriapócs is a famous place of pilgrimage in north-eastern Hungary. The famous icon of St. Mary shed tears several times in the past centuries, warning the nation of grave dangers. The original icon was taken to Vienna, but Mary never wept there.
